Legislator Rachel Barnhart presented the Golden Fox Restaurant with a proclamaton from Monroe County on their 50th anniversary. The restaurant has been an affordable gathering place for people all over the county and a mainstay of the Beechwood neighborhood.
Owner Corinna Kasandrinos acknowledged the role Legislator Barnhart played in helping her business survive the pandemic. Legislator Barnhart worked to cap fees GrubHub and Door Dash could charge in commission to small restaurants. She also secured grants for small business, with a focus on women and minority-owned businesses.
